Rarotonga Homes and Villa Accommodation

Homes and villas in Rarotonga provide private accommodation for your Cook Islands holiday. They usually have full kitchens, surrounding garden, access to beach, barbecue facilities and so on. There are basically two types of accommodation available in this vacation category.

One is the privately owned vacation rental home, usually just one residence on the property. These are sometimes casual timber houses, comfortable but not always in the luxury bracket. One needs to check exactly what is provided, etc.

The other classification is the luxury villa, which is a newer concept that has become extremely popular in Rarotonga. These type of villas are often in the form of a small group of individual villas on a single property,  stylishly appointed and offering excellent facilities and amenities such as flat panel TV, DVD and modern kitchen fixtures and equipment. Sometimes they include a private plunge pool or spa. Alternatively a single pool on the property allows you and just a few other guests with access to enjoy relaxing and swimming in relative privacy and peace.

Villas and homes usually come with full kitchens, so are perfect for families as dining out in Rarotonga can sometimes be expensive. The kitchen facilities also allow for private dining for honeymoon couples, though of course there are always restaurants and resorts not too far away where you can go if you do not wish to self-cater.
